Kristen Stewart might be relieved to learn that her ‘Twilight’ co-star Ashley Greene is reportedly being lined up to replace her as the main face of the new movie ‘Breaking Dawn – Part Two’, alongside Robert Pattinson.
The 22-year-old actress could have been worrying about walking the red carpet alongside Rob, who she admitted to cheating on, as well as potentially awkward interviews – but now, it looks as though Ashley, who plays Alice Cullen, is going to be the “go to” girl, according to sources.
But while the film bosses are allegedly hoping that Kristen and Rob will get back together in time for the new movie, which premieres in November, they have a back-up plan just in case.
A NY Post’s Page Six source has claimed that “the studio’s holding out to see if they get back together”, before adding: “I don’t think anyone is banking on that happening. At this point, the press strategy would have been mapped out. It’s usually very organised, but at this time it’s undecided.”
If Rob and Kristen don’t get their relationship back on track, they “would attend separate premieres and Ashley Green would step in as the main lady.”
But, there have been reported signs that all may not be lost for Kristen and Rob – as apparently he’s agreed to meet her after a heck of a lot of begging and according to rumours, she’s had a little help from her ‘On The Road’ co-star (and Rob’s best pal) Tom Sturridge.[adrotate banner=”38″]
