The identities of those who lost their lives in the heinous terrorist attack have also been revealed. Making a statement on Istiklal Street, Süleyman Soylu stated that 6 people from 3 families lost their lives and 81 people were injured in the explosion, and announced that the person who left the bomb was also caught.

Minister Soylu announced the identities of those who lost their lives in the bomb attack:
Arzu Özsoy (Istanbul, 1984) and her daughter Yağmur (2007).
Yusuf Meydan (Elazig, 1988) and his daughter Ecrin (2013).
Adem Topkara (Gümüşhane, 1982) and his wife Mukaddes Elif Topkara (Rize, 1995).
Süleyman Soylu made a statement regarding the situation of the injured: “We had 81 injured. 50 of our injured were discharged. Some of them were our brothers whom we kept in the hospital as a precaution due to tinnitus. 5 of our injured are in intensive care. The condition of our 2 injured is also serious,” he said.
Soylu stated that the action order came from Kobani and continued as follows:
“We have an assessment that the female terrorist who carried out the action passed through Afrin. The person who carried out the incident and dropped the bomb was detained by the Istanbul Police Department. Before that, about 21 more people had been detained. PKK/PYD terrorist organization within the framework of our findings.
And I say it again. In the near future, we will show the people who made us suffer this pain in Beyoğlu Istiklal Street, a response where they can experience more and more pain. May the souls of our martyrs rest in peace. May their place be heaven. Condolences to their families, relatives, friends and our nation.”
