NBA: Houston 113, Sacramento 106
Luis Scola had 22 points and a dozen rebounds in Houston’s 113-106 home win over Sacramento Saturday.
Carl Landry scored 20 off the bench and Trevor Ariza added 19 for the Rockets, who put on a 14-3 run late in their 33-point fourth quarter to nail down the victory.
Spencer Hawes led the Kings in scoring with 24 points. Beno Udrih had 18 points and Omri Casspi had 17.
The Kings led 101-99 with less than 4:30 to play in the game, but Houston took over from there. Scola’s jumper with 3:41 to play broke a 101-101 tie and Landry and Ariza followed up with a jumper and a pair of free throws that staked the Rockets to a 107-101 lead with 1:23 to play.
Sacramento had led 84-80 at the star of the fourth quarter.
