Little by little, the princess keeps more and more appointments. Now Charlène paid a visit to a hospital – and relied on a sheath dress.
At the end of April, Charlene von Monaco appeared in public for the first time. At that time, she attended the FIA Formula E World Championship, which was held in the Principality, together with her husband and their two children.
Since then, the 44-year-old has kept making appointments. For example, she visited the Formula 1 event The Grand Prix of Monaco several times. She also traveled to Oslo with her family to meet the Norwegian royal family, among others.
Charlene of Monaco visits parents and babies in hospital
At her latest appointment, however, Princess Charlène was alone. Without Prince Albert II, the former swimmer visited the Princesse Grace Hospital on Monday, especially visiting the maternity ward “to meet the young parents and their newborns,” as the Fürstenhof explains on Instagram.
In addition, the court shared a series of images. In the first snapshot, Charlène of Monaco can be seen in the foyer of the hospital, surrounded by the clinic’s nurses, the manager of the Monegasque Red Cross and one of the doctors at the Princesse Grace Hospital.
The other photos – which you can see if you click to the right – show the 44-year-old chatting to parents or tending to little babies. The princess wears a black sheath dress with white straps. She combined it with simple pearl earrings. Charlene von Monaco refrained from further jewelry and accessories.
On Instagram, her fans sound enthusiastic about the pictures. “How loving and close Princess Charlene is,” commented a follower of the series of photos, for example. “I love this princess,” said another.
