Showbiz – Kate Winslet May be returning back home to the UK after splitting up with her husband last month.
British actress Kate Winslet is reportedly moving back to the UK after splitting up from her husband Sam Mendes who is a film director. The couple split last month in which their lawyer who gave a statement to the press wrote “The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement,”
Film Director Mendes (44) and Kate Winslet (44) were married for just under seven years. It was Winslet’s second marriage her first being with film director Jim Threapleton.
The couple decided to tie the knot in a low-key wedding ceremony which was held privately in the Caribbean in May 2003.
Sources close to the beautiful actress said “Kate doesn’t know quite what to do.”
Kate Winslet has friends in New York but is still feeling down with the hole saga and her close friends are all in the UK.
Kate has been receiving support from Leonardo DiCaprio since her separation with Mendes. The pair had gotten to be close friends at the set of Titanic and have been friends ever since.
Kate has a son, Joe (6) from Sam Mendes and a nine-year-old daughter from her previous marriage with Jim Threapleton and is finding it a little difficult to move to the UK because she does not want to disrupt their routine according to sources.
