Happy Mourinho as Inter beat Ancelotti’s blues

MourinhoThe long awaited Champions League clash between Inter Milan and Chelsea took place yesterday with Inter Milan the laughing side in the first leg.

Inter Milan made the perfect start with Diego Milito firing in a goal with only three minutes gone. However Chelsea kept their composure and fired in a success of on target shots which tested in form julio cesar to the limit.

Chelsea came back with an equaliser in the second half through Salomon Kalou, who hit the woodwork earlier in the game.

However the Chelsea moral was soon put down again by an Esteban Cambiasso goal which was expertly executed to the back of the net which resulted in the game finishing 2-1 to Inter.

Though both Chelsea and Inter Milan are high rollers in terms of football, but it was not the match that had most people talking. It was the match up of Jose Mourinho against Chelsea, the team that Mourinho had led for 2.5 years.

The current Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti, was also in hostile grounds as he was the former manager of Inter’s local rivals AC Milan from 2001 to 2009.

So Mourinho was on the laughing side in the first leg of the Champions League quarter Final but with Inter set to leave for Stanford Bridge, all eyes will be on the “special one ”
