Norah Jones promotes new album on digital platforms

The version of the song Hallelujah, I Love Him So by singer Norah Jones, over the original by Ray Charles, is available today on digital platforms as a preview of the multi-award winning artist’s next album.

The single was recorded by Jones in 2000 for a demo for the Blue Note label, accompanied by bassist Lee Alexander, percussionist Dan Rieser, and Jesse Harris on harmonica, recalls Rolling Stone magazine.

Hallelujah…, is one of the 44 titles of her album Come Away With Me, with which the 43-year-old singer will celebrate two decades of artistic career.

The collection includes a remastered version of the self-titled album with which she debuted on the record market, and other additional recordings of previously unreleased material.

Regarding the reissue of the phonogram, Jones shared a statement in which she expressed her pride in the original installment and thanked those who contributed to its production.

“(…) I think it was a good first attempt (…) it really shows who he was musically then (…). In the end I felt very grateful to be able to explore different paths before putting it all together. No one, including the record company, had any idea how successful it would be,” said the singer, songwriter and pianist.

Come Away With Me will go into circulation on April 29 in digital, compact disc, and for the deluxe edition it will also have a four-LP vinyl box.

Delivery includes a booklet with artist notes and rare photos from her recording sessions.

Jones, winner of nine Grammy Awards, defends a repertoire that includes elements of jazz, blues, soul, country and pop, variety applauded by critics and fans around the world.
